"Those who’ve traveled in Taiwan will agree that it’s a busy country. In its larger cities travel is congested and at times gridlocked, yet strangely enough, in even the most congested subway station there is an eerie silence. Unlike the transit systems of other large cities throughout the world, in Taiwan it seems no one speaks, shouts or laughs. The only audible sounds are shuffling feet, rustling baggage or the works of the trains.
Everyone seems secluded in their own thoughts and they don’t seem to look up except to step on or off the train cars. However passengers exiting the soon to be completed subway station at the International Airport of Kauschung will be confronted with a work of art that is bound to awaken their senses from the doldrums of travel.
